Wild Fire

On May 1st, 2016 Fort McMurray and surrounding areas were under threat from a massive and unprecedented wildfire that saw 80,000+ residents evacuated from the area. The fire swept through the community destroying 2400 homes and buildings. Responders from Fort McMurray and all across Canada worked 24 hours a day to protect the municipality from the out of control wildfire, this included the employees of Roughrider International. Quick to respond with Fuel and Water Trucks day and night to support the Fire and Emergency equipment battling this beast of a fire. Now that the fire is considered contained Roughrider is and will continue to support with equipment in the rebuilding stage of the May Wildfire of Fort McMurray.

This page is dedicated to our employees for their tireless hard work and dedication to their community.
